"Tess" May 15, 2011 to February 2024

Birdy, pushy, intense, focused, plenty of drive and desire, yet affectionate and silly, very people-oriented -- that's Tess.  At home she wants to be in your face, loving on you.  Tess has a true "golden" temperament, getting along with everyone, human, canine, and other.  She is out-going and very very confident.   In the field she is intensely focused on her birds.  She runs fast with a ground-covering, powerful stride.  Tess is a big girl:  23 inches at the shoulder, 65 lb.  She has dark pigment, full dentition with a correct scissors bite, and a practical, easy-care coat.    Tess easily earned her Junior Hunter title and Working Certificate spring 2012 at 11 months age.

Tess was co-owned by Mary Tatum (Watermark Retrievers) and Anne McGuire (Vintage Golden Retrievers).
